You generate only 0.35 grams of CO2 per liter of drinking water for the production, treatment, distribution, and management of regional water utilities to transport drinking water to your home. It is recommended that one should drink at least 3 liters of water per day. For a family of four, this amounts to 12 liters of water per day, and if one has to regularly buy drinking water, it not only puts a strain on the wallet, but also on the environment.
1 liter bottled water costs a minimum of 0.13 € (not including deposit). A family of 4 would need to spend 1.56 € per day just on bottled water. This amounts to 46.80 € for a 30-day month and 48.36 € for a 31-day month. In one year, this adds up to 555.36 € just for the purchase of bottled water.

The Verdanium MAX water filter requires approximately 1.8 liters of water to produce 1 liter of purified water. The calculation is based on the price of 1.766 € per cubic meter of water, plus a 1.56 € wastewater fee. This amounts to approximately 0.00332 € per liter, which translates to approximately 0.0059 € per liter for the system (prices for Munich as of January 1st, 2021).
 

A family of 4 therefore has expenses of only 0.07 € per day. This, also extrapolated to a 30-day month, results in 2.12 € spent on drinking water per month. In a 31-day month, it is even 2.19 €. Extrapolated to a year, this is only 25.84 € for absolutely pure drinking water.
 

Comparing the expenses of bottled water for a 4-person household of 555.36 € per year with the drinking water from Verdanium MAX, a saving of 529.52 € is achieved and you always have pure drinking water available.

Push & Click filter change - the easiest filter change worldwide

Filter changes have never been easier or quicker than with the Verdanium MAX water filter. The pre- and post-filters are positioned in the housing so that they can be easily reached without opening the Verdanium MAX housing or having to remove the Verdanium MAX awkwardly. Within a short period of time, a filter change can be completed without any additional tools. 

The connection between the filter cartridge and filter head is made by means of a bayonet lock. Under pressure, the connection locks more tightly into the bayonet lock, making it almost impossible to loosen or open the connection. Two mechanical valves in the filter heads lock the water inlet and outlet during the filter change. This prevents the water from escaping from the system uncontrollably and causing damage. 

Filter cartridges must be able to withstand pressure spikes of up to 50 bar that can occur in water pipes without bursting or even springing out of the cartridge head. To ensure this, the VISION AQUA® standard filter cartridges are sealed by friction welding, which achieves the highest strength. 

In addition, the replacement filter cartridges have their own seals, which do not need to be cleaned, checked, or replaced during the filter change.

Sediment filter

The 5 µm sediment filters are the key to optimal performance and safety of your Verdanium MAX water filter. These high-quality pre-filters remove fine and coarse suspended solids and protect the original Dow® FILMTEC™ membranes from dirt, rust, and sediment. They are robust and durable, ensuring high filtration quality for all water applications in your kitchen. To ensure proper operation of the Verdanium MAX water filter, the 5 µm sediment filters should be replaced every six months, depending on water quality, and even more frequently if necessary. With a maximum filtration capacity of 3,000 liters, they are a reliable solution for your water treatment.

Original Dow® FILMTEC™ Membranes

The production of pure water in the Verdanium MAX water filter

Two original Dow® FILMTEC™ membranes are the centerpiece of the Verdanium MAX and are among the most effective and reliable on the market. With them, you get clean drinking water of the highest quality. 

Thanks to the GreenOsmo® Technology developed by VISION AQUA®, the membranes are highly efficient, produce little wastewater, consume little energy during the filtration process, and are therefore very robust. A lifespan of five to ten years, and even longer, is easily achievable with proper care of the Verdanium MAX. 

The high efficiency in combination with the low energy demand of less than 1 W/l of clean water makes the original Dow® FILMTEC™ membranes particularly environmentally friendly, while also saving you energy and water costs. 

The original Dow® FILMTEC™ membranes are only permeable to water molecules with a maximum size of 0.28 nanometers. Beyond the membranes, almost completely clean water accumulates, while the non-permeable dissolved substances in the water are retained and flushed out of the Verdanium MAX through the drain. The result is safe, clean, and delicious drinking water.

Activated carbon post-filter

Post-filter for improving taste

The activated carbon post-filters eliminate unwanted color, taste, and odor from your drinking water. With their excellent adsorption properties, they easily remove noble gases such as chlorine and thus improve the taste of the water. To ensure that you can enjoy your Verdanium MAX water filter for a long time, the activated carbon post-filters should be replaced every 12 months, depending on the quality of the incoming water, possibly at shorter intervals.
The activated carbon post-filters are designed for a maximum filtration capacity of up to 3,000 liters.

Lohnt sich und gehört eigentlich in jedes Haus

Für den Wasserfilter Verdanium Max von VISION AQUA muss man zwar etwas tiefer in die Tasche greifen, aber es lohnt sich alle mal. Denn man bekommt wirklich mehr als nur einen einfachen Wasserfilter. Man kann es als Investition sehen. Besonders für Hausbesitzer ist es interessant, denn der Filter passt perfekt in einen Apothekerschrank in der Küche. Und sind wir mal ehrlich, für was nimmt man den Schrank eigentlich? Richtig, um Getränke darin aufzubewahren. Ob die Entwickler von Vision Aqua diesen Gedanken im Hinterkopf hatten? Jedenfalls ist der Verdanium Max Wasserfilter ein richtiger Alleskönner. Ich habe immer frisches Trinkwasser und kann gleichzeitig meine Spülmaschine mit dem Wasser versorgen. Die Reiniger für den Spüler habe ich gleich alle aussortiert und speise den Spüler nur noch mit dem frischen Wasser ein. Es gibt einen extra Ausgang dafür am Gerät und mit dem Adapter für Wasch und Spülmaschine kann man den Spüler ganz leicht mit anschliessen. Die Installation war auch sehr einfach, auch für Laien machbar, und ging sehr schnell. Die ausführlich beschriebene und bebilderte Anleitung hilft dabei ungemein. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass hier wirklich auf jedes noch so kleine Detail geachtet wurde. Alleine dafür gibt es schonmal 5 Sterne! Aber nun zu den Vorteilen die mir nach kurzer Zeit schon aufgefallen sind: - Immer frisches Trinkwasser! - Ich muss keine Getränke mehr kaufen, spare damit also schon um die 100 € im Monat. - Keine Kalkablagerungen mehr. - Reiniger sind quasi aus der Küche verschwunden. - Ich nutze zum Kochen nur noch das frische Wasser und das Essen schmeckt intensiver. - Mein Tee hinterlässt keine Schlieren mehr an der Tasse und sieht viel besser aus. Ich bin glücklich darüber mich für den Verdanium Max Wasserfilter entschieden zu haben. Für den tollen Service möchte ich mich auch noch bei Vision Aqua bedanken, denn von der Beratung mit einem der freundlichen Mitarbeiter bis zur Lieferung und darüber hinaus ist alles sehr gut gelaufen. Der Filter ist jeden Tag im Einsatz und wird das auch noch eine ganze Weile bleiben! Liebe Grüße
