The HYDRO-STOPPER is a reliable and electronically controlled shut-off valve, which is small and easy to install by any user. Thanks to a unique technical solution for detecting a water leak and the shutoff system, the valve can be operated with a single 1.5 V alkaline battery AA LR6 or a lithium battery L91 AA. The system consumes power (0.45 A) only during activation (0.01 s) of the water shut-off mechanism. In stand-by mode, the electronic valve control is supplied with a practically non-measurable current of less than 1 nA. Consequently, it can be assumed that there is no current consumption in stand-by mode. With an L91 AA lithium battery, the standby time can exceed 10 years.
