Durchflussbegrenzer - 250 ccm - 1/4" Rohr AD

Product information "Durchflussbegrenzer - 250 ccm - 1/4" Rohr AD"

Flow limiter - 300 ccm - 1/4" tube external diameter
The flow limiter is an indispensable component in every reverse osmosis water filter. Only through the flow limiter, the process of reverse osmosis takes place in a membrane. The flow limiter, also known as a fixed pressure regulator, ensures that a certain amount of wastewater (retentate) can flow out of the reverse osmosis membrane within a certain time. Only then can the osmotic pressure build-up. For example, the inscription FLOW 300 means that at approx. 6 - 8 bar operating pressure of the reverse osmosis membrane (osmotic pressure, internal pressure), the flow limiter lets through a water quantity of approx. 300 millilitres per minute relatively constantly (depending on the back pressure). In addition, selecting the appropriate flow restrictor also determines the ultrapure water (permeate) to wastewater ratio. Since the VISION AQUA water filters are additionally equipped with the GREENOSMO® TECHNOLOGY, flow limiters can also be used, which do not comply with the usual specifications for ultra-pure water to wastewater ratio. Thus, the VISION AQUA water filters with reverse osmosis achieve a ratio of 1:0.8, which in plain language means that for 1 litre of ultra-pure water, the VISION AQUA water filter with reverse osmosis requires approx. 1.8 litres of raw water.
